Our Response to COVID-19

We have installed three FDA approved Air Scrubber by Aerus air purifiers in the HVAC ducts. ActivePure® Technology that attaches directly to the HVAC system ductwork to remove air pollution, VOCs, surface contaminants, pet dander, odors and dust, resulting in a cleaner, healthier and more efficient environment. ActivePure consists of a special UV light and photocatalyst target, creating an Advanced Oxidation Process containing several friendly oxidizers. AirDoctor stand-alone purifiers have been placed in the reception area and each treatment suite. The UtraHEPA Filter is 100 times more effective than ordinary HEPA filters and is able to capture 99.99% of the most dangerous ultra fine particles in the air. Click here to learn more.

Integration of Isolite by Zyris into each treatment suite. In conjunction with our current suction, we are now able to eliminate airborne dental aerosols by over 90%. Click here to learn more.

Hand sanitizer will be made readily available throughout the office. Proper hand hygiene is your first line of defense in protection.

New Patient Screening measures:
- Thorough medical history reviews
- Vitals will now include forehead temperature scans
- Pre-visit screening questionnaires
- Personalized discussion of your medical history and how it correlates to your systemic health
- Importance of oral hygiene as it relates to your overall well-being

Hydrogen peroxide or peroxyl rinse prior to any treatment or exam, which decreases the loads of pathogens in patients’ mouths. Since coronavirus is vulnerable to oxidation, any mouth rinse containing oxidative agents such as 1% hydrogen peroxide or 0.2% povidone is recommended to reduce the salivary load of oral microbes, including potential coronavirus.

In conjunction with our current personal protective equipment (PPE), our clinical team will also be equipped with the following:
- Disposable full body gowns
- Full face shields
- N95 masks

We will also be limiting the number of patients we treat at any given time. We will strictly adhere to the social distancing recommendations set forth.

We have also streamlined our check-in and checkout process. We will have you check in with a phone call from your car, and when you are ready to be seated we will call or text for you to come into our office. Our plan is to ensure that any follow-up care appointments, payments and financial arrangements are taken care of prior to your visit with us. No need to get cozy in our reception area. We know your time is valuable and our goal is to minimize your time in the office.
