Guests entering Costa Dentistry are greeted by a sculptural, meandering custom reception desk. The modern, solid surface desk anchors the waiting room and, along with the serpentine bulkhead, draws attention to the custom logo wall. Two bendable LED fixtures are used to create the “O” in the Costa logo which creates the perfect balance of contrast against the black wall. The luxury vinyl tile flooring appears as stone tile, but offers durability and is easy to clean, making it ideal for a dental office.
The play on angles and curves throughout the suite adds both interest and functionality by creating more private spaces. The striking black and white color scheme with gold accents adds a dramatic effect, while touches of walnut wood millwork help to create warmth throughout. Functional and beautiful spaces designed for the staff include a lab space, break room and private restroom. Black metal separation panels with a gradation of open circles keep natural light flowing throughout the space and still provide the necessary privacy between dental bays. Staggered lighting in the dental bays provide sufficient ambient lighting without creating harsh glare around the ceiling mounted TVs, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing experience.
